- Purdue OWL The Purdue University online writing lab has a wide range of helpful 'handouts' and links to other writing resources. One of the largest and best of many university OWLs
- Bartleby.com An astounding collection of full text reference volumes, including dictionaries, encyclopedia, and Gray's Anatomy!
- Graduate research Two online journals: one of research articles appicable to practice, and the other of research articles written by graduate nursing students. Use the links in the blue border down the left side of the page.
- APA style The horse's mouth - an overview of what the APAPublication Manual offers with some excerpts of material from the 5th edition.
- Common errors in English A rather complete list of spelling and usage confusions. Very helpful if you still are still not sure(in common with many of us) whether the word you want is affect or effect.
- Healthweb.org An indexed list of health information web sites. The sites here arecollaboratively compiled by a mid-western consortium of health sciences libraries. Inclusion on this list does not mean you should accept the information you find. You must still evaluate the sites for yourself.
- Journal of Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship An online journal of undergraduate nursing writing. Take a look, read, write, and submit!
