UMass Dartmouth Women's & Gender Studies Program offers two online programs. Both options focus on exploring women's experiences by placing women at the center of inquiry as subjects rather than objects. Courses integrate a variety of other fields of study into their curriculum such as economics, history, literature, political science and sociology.
Women's & Gender Studies Degree Completion Program
This program allows students to complete their Bachelor of Arts degree through the Women's & Gender Studies Program (WGS). Along with core classes, students concentrate in four areas of study: Gender Studies; Politics, Justice and Policy; Cross-Cultural Inquiry; and Arts and Letters.

This program allows students to enter the field of Women's & Gender Studies to develop a fuller understanding of women's positions in society. Students investigate the broad spectrum of women's movements and feminist theories.
