MPOWR

Mathematics and Physics Opportunities for Women in Research (MPOWR) is an OUR project—initiated by Dr. Grant O’Rielly, Physics, and Dr. Gary Davis, Mathematics—to help women mathematics and physics undergraduates find research-based opportunities to develop their interests and careers. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Attend conferences for women in mathematics and physics—meet university and college professors, science and mathematics journalists and authors, and teachers whose teaching is informed by research
  • Network with professional women in mathematics and physics
  • Identify mentors who can assist undergraduate women in mathematics and physics to grow and develop through research
