The Robert and Jeanne Leduc Center for Civic Engagement is an exciting venture that was started by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in the Fall 2008 with a mission of integrating intellectual talents and pursuits with the needs of the community. The Leduc Center strives to serve as the mechanism through which the University meets the dual challenges of community need and active student learning as outlined in the University's strategic plan. The integration of learning and service is a powerful tool for enhancing student learning, increasing student engagement, and creating a more just society.
