Dr. Jon S. Bailey
speak about
"ABA on Trial: A True Tale of Deception, Denial and Redemption as Told by an Expert Witness"
Dr. Bailey will discuss a case in Miami in which two plaintiffs with autistic children challenged a ruling by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (FAHCA) that ABA was "experimental" and, as such, would not fund behavioral treatment. Dr. Bailey was called as an Expert Witness to testify in the case. In his presentation, he will describe the "evidence" that is often used against ABA and the scientific data that was presented to the Federal Judge in rebuttal of the FAHCA determination.
