Fall River Professional & Continuing Education Parking Information:

The Fall River site is located in the former Cherry and Webb Building; 139 South Main Street; Fall River, MA 02721. Parking is available for a nominal fee at the Pearl and 3rd Street garages, which are within one block of the building. Metered parking is available on South Main St.

New Bedford Professional & Continuing Education Parking Information:

The New Bedford site is located in the former Cherry and Webb Building; 800 Purchase Street; New Bedford, MA 02740. Parking is available for a nominal fee at the Custom House Square Parking Lot on William Street and the Elm Street Garage on Elm Street, which are both within blocks of the building. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets of the Center.

Express Bus - Dartmouth to New Bedford

Provides shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities for students.

  • a partnership between UMass Dartmouth and the City of New Bedford
  • a transportation pilot project that aims to bring UMD's Dartmouth and New Bedford campus environments a bit closer together
  • a pilot project in progress to identify the best transportation service possible and make available the best downtown has to offer
  • a program for restaurants, shops, galleries, and other businesses to welcome students to downtown

Every hour on the hour a quick bus ride will transport students to a world of coffee, eating, diversity, shopping, history, visual and performing art, and culture. Many establishments offer discounts.
