Online Undergraduate Cluster Programs
An Online Cluster Program is a set of related courses that represent different areas on a common theme. Each Cluster contains a minimum of twelve credits of coursework. You will often satisfy several general education requirements by taking courses within a cluster. In most cases, the cluster experience will even grow, or be linked to, your special intellectual interests. The courses in the cluster may also be used for major or minor credit requirements at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and other institutions.
These cluster programs offers you the opportunity to explore various areas of study with the convenience and benefits of the online environment. You will also find these programs flexible with few prerequisite or sequential requirements. This allows you to jump into the next available class and not have to wait for the next sequence to begin. We encourage you to get started now in a Cluster Program that meets your interest or helps fulfill your educational goals.
For more information on these online clusters, contact David Pedro, Online Academic Advisor at dpedro@umassd.edu or call (508) 990-1160 ext. 104.
