4 Arrive in Catania. Leave airport via bus for Messina
5 Leave St.Elia at 9am for tour of Messina
6 First day of classes

8 Leave St. Elia at 9am for Giardini Naxos visit Museum, site of first Greek Settlement and Taormina's Greco-Roman Theater
9 Class day

13-15 Leave Messina in the morning for Reggio and Museo Nazionale and the Riace Bronzes and museum's collection.

Students will be free around 2 pm and can leave for visits to the Aolean Islands or make other plans for the free weekend.

18-21 Leave St. Elia at 8am for 4-day field trip. Return to Messina evening or the 21st
22 Study Day (students work on their own)

25 Leave St. Elia at 8am for field trip to Siracusa's Museo Archeologico, L'Orechio di Dionisio and Island of Ortigia
26 Class day
27 Final portfolios and exams; pack; farewell party and information for leaving on the morning of the 28th
28 Leave St. Elia at 3:30am...yes you read it correctly… for Catania airport and return to the USA
