Professor Benjamin F. Taggie
Professor of History, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Professor Taggie
holds his Ph.D. in Medieval Studies with a specialization in Medieval Spain
and Portugal. Dr. Taggie has served as a University Provost and Dean, and has
directed both Honors and International Programs. In recent years, Dr. Taggie
has lead intra-session and summer travel studies programs to Spain and Portugal.
He also serves as Director of the UMass Dartmouth Summer Program in Granada,
Spain and as Executive Director of the Mediterranean Studies Association. Dr.
Taggie has published extensively in the field of medieval studies.

Professor Anthony Miraglia Professor/Chairperson
of Fine Arts, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. His works, most recently,
were included in National Juried Exhibitions in Philadelphia, Texas, Virginia
and at invitational exhibitions at the New Bedford Art Museum, New Bedford,
Massachusetts. He has exhibited locally, regionally, and nationally in
galleries as well as at several museums. Professor Miraglia has been the
recipient of several awards, and his works are held in numerous private,
public, and corporate collections throughout the US and Asia.
