Students are required to book their own travel for this program. Travel is not a part of the program cost. This allows participants to take advantage of extending their stay and/or utilize frequent flyer miles.

The program begins on June 3, 2008. Please be sure to make your flight arrangement to arrive in Catania, Sicily on June 4th on or before 2:00 pm. Most flights to Sicily require you to fly overnight, so you will need to look at departure times from the U.S. on June 3th. A bus will take all students back to the University of Messina. This bus will leave the airport promptly at 2:00 pm. Transportation is provided for all program-related field trips and excursions.

The program ends June 28, 2008. Transportation will be provided from the University of Messina to Catania Airport. The bus will leave very early in the morning. All students must vacate the Sicily program housing accommodations at that time.
