|Effective Date||December 17, 2007|
|Responsible Office/Person||Campus Facilities Office, Campus Services, Housing and Residential Life|
Campus buildings are open and available to students when the University is open and according to posted schedules. When the University is closed, access to all campus buildings is restricted, unless otherwise posted.
This policy is needed to ensure that unauthorized persons do not enter University-owned spaces that are unprotected and/or potentially unsafe.
The following offices determine hours of access for all University spaces: Campus Services (for Campus Center spaces), Housing and residential Life (for all campus housing spaces), and Campus Facilities (for all other campus spaces).
Anyone requiring access to one or more buildings during times when they are not normally open should request an exception to the policy from the Campus Services Office (for Campus Center usage), Housing and residential Life (for housing spaces) and from Campus Facilities Department (for all other campus spaces) at least 3 days in advance.
Posting of building availability is the responsibility of the Offices deemed responsible for the use of the campus space as listed above.
