Policy Statement
Smoking is not permitted in any University building (including all on-campus housing) or University vehicle.
Purpose
This policy is in compliance with Massachusetts state law.
Definitions
Smoking of any substance is not permitted in any University building or University vehicle per this policy.
Procedures
All violations of this policy will be referred to the Student Life Office for appropriate adjudication. Smoking cessation programs are available through the Health Services Office and the Health Educator.
Responsibility
The Student Affairs Office is responsible for communicating this policy and for the adjudication of violations as deemed appropriate.
