UMass Dartmouth prepares students for admission to medical and health-related professional programs through its Pre-medical/Pre-health Faculty Advising.
Students may select any UMass Dartmouth major that best reflects their interests and passions. Students should consider an undergraduate major in a discipline they would like to pursue as a career--because medical school does not necessarily begin immediately after the undergraduate years.
- If you're applying to UMass Dartmouth with an interest in pre-med or related health professions, please indicate this on your application form, regardless of your declared program of study, so we can offer you appropriate advising and tracking once you're here on campus.
- If you're currently an undergraduate, transfer, or graduate student at UMass Dartmouth who has developed an interest in pursuing a health professions career, please register with the Pre-Health Professions Advisor Director.
