SEMAP - Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership

CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an arrangement in which consumers buy shares of a farms harvest before the season begins. Throughout the season, usually once per week, members pick up their share of what the farm produces. CSAs strengthen consumers connection to the farm and provide economic security for the farmers. To find out more about CSAs, contact these individual farms or visit the Community Supported Agriculture of North America at the University of Massachusetts website (www.umass.edu/umext/csa/).
