Description:
SARE is a nationwide organization that is part of the USDA’s Cooperative State Research Education and Extension Service.  It supports economically and environmentally sustainable farming systems. Grants are provided for projects that advance these goals in the areas of education and research, production, professional development and more.  Through the website SARE also provides technical information, reports on SARE-funded projects, and a guide to USDA-funded programs.  SARE’s Sustainable Agriculture Network publishes information for farmers including books, pamphlets, and guides, much of which is available directly on SARE’s website.
