Description: The UMass Extension Agriculture and Landscape Program works in partnership with the College of Natural Resources & the Environment and the Mass Agricultural Experiment Station, bringing together scientists and educators to provide services to citizens of the Commonwealth on issues concerning environmentally sustainable and economically viable agricultural systems. Teams of university faculty and professional educators conduct research, offer educational workshops, and provide newsletters, web access, publications, and other learning opportunities in the following areas:
Contact information for each team is available by following the links at: www.umass.edu/agland The Agriculture and Landscape Program provides an array of conferences and workshops on various subjects pertaining to agriculture, a schedule of which is located at their website. Individual newsletters are available to cover most commodities; contact each respective team for more information. Other services available include soil and plant tissue testing, pesticide state license training, and various other diagnostic services. See below for additional phone numbers.
