Description:
Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom (MAC) is part of a national effort to promote awareness of the economic and social importance of agriculture. MAC’s statewide training program connects education and agriculture by developing linkages between local farmers and teachers.  The MAC Teacher’s Resource Directory provides contacts for educational materials for use in integrating agricultural topics into classroom instruction.   A mini-grant program supports farmers and educators working to develop hands-on agriculture educational programs.  The Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom Newsletter is published three times a year.
