Description:
SEED Corporation is a nonprofit SBA-certified finance corporation set up to assist small businesses in Southeastern Massachusetts to start up, expand and create jobs. SEED coordinates a technical assistance program to assist with business plan development and loan applications, and six financing programs which make loans ranging from $5,000 to $1.3 million for working capital and fixed assets. SEED's 250 members represent small businesses, banks, business and community organizations, and local officials. A board of 30 is selected from the members.
