The Division of Environmental Policy's scholarship work includes books written by Professor Chad McGuire regarding environmental law and policy.
"Environmental Decision-making in Context: A Toolbox"
This is Professor McGuire's first academic text. It will be published by CRC Press (an imprint of Taylor & Francis). The book is part of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA)'s Series on Public Administration and Public Policy. It is meant to offer foundational techniques in environmental decision-making and to support both academic and practical applications. The text will be available April, 2012.
"Adapting to Sea Level Rise in the Coastal Zone: Law and Policy Considerations"
This is the tentative title of Professor McGuire's second academic text. He recently signed a contract with Taylor & Francis for the production of this manuscript. This book will focus on adaptation strategies that can be employed to deal with the effects of climate change in the coastal zone. The text is tentatively scheduled to be released mid-2013.
