The Department of Public Policy is an interdisciplinary academic department that offers its students a wide variety of graduate educational options centered around courses that emphasize the development of policy analysis, applied research, and public management skills.  For those who are curious, public policy is fundamentally focused on three questions regarding the activities of government, which are:

• What does government choose to do?
• Why does government make the choices it makes?
• What are the consequences of those choices?
