Beginning Fall 2012, students who are enrolled in education courses as non-degree students will be offered four MTEL workshops free of charge in an effort to transition these students from non-degree students to matriculated students in the licensure program.
Students enrolled in the BA-BS/MAT program will also be eligible for free MTEL workshops to increase their likelihood of approving the necessary MTELs before meeting all of the requirements to receive their bachelor’s degree.
The workshops will focus on
- Foundations of Reading
- General Curriculum
- Math
- Communications and Literacy Skills.
