About Us

The STEM Ed Department is an interdisciplinary department focused on the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The STEM Ed Department is home to the Mathematics Education PhD program.

The STEM Ed Department provides science and mathematics courses for K-12 educators seeking an initial or professional license as teachers of Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science. The department endeavors to strengthen the quality of STEM research and education, as well as advance the University's STEM related partnerships.
