Fall River Commerce/Industrial Park

laboratory photoFall River Commerce/Industrial Park, this 160-acre Fall River Commerce Park and 500-acre Fall River Industrial Park, are home to 60 firms employing nearly 4,500 men and women. Both of these parks are fully permitted, with all infrastructure in place These companies are among a diverse group that collectively occupy more than 3.7 million square feet of industrial and commercial space. Three new projects, representing more than 250,000 square feet of additional space and nearly 600 new jobs, are currently under construction. At the heart of the technology corridor, the Commerce Park abuts the Fall River Industrial Park and offers excellent access to major highways making it an easy commute from Boston, Providence and Rotes 128 and I-145. Industries such as medical devices, life science, marine science and bio-technology companies are growing and are selling their products all over the world, showcasing the high-quality of the SouthCoast's affordable, productive and skilled workforce. Commercial real estate including raw land and existing space is available and inexpensive and the city's tax, water and sewer rates are among the lowest in the state. In addition, both parks are well served by an extensive transportation network and existing infrastructure. New Bedford Business Park

The New Bedford Business Park is one of the most beautiful, successful and reasonably priced business parks in the Northeast, with 18 purchases and 10 expansions in the last five years. Recent major upgrades of the entrance, signage, landscaping, roads, telecommunications, amenities, safety and security demonstrate the owner's commitment to a high quality business environment as well as three new roads adding 10 new lots available to sell with sites ranging from five to 40 acres. SouthCoast Research & Technology Park

The SouthCoast Research & Technology Park is a technology-focused business park located at the junction of Routes 24 and I-195 in Fall River, Massachusetts. The South Coast Research and Technology Park offers technology firms a unique alternative, including the region's only Research and Development Overlay District. Biotechnology and related uses are pre-approved, and UMass Dartmouth's Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center is onsite to assist businesses with technology and manufacturing solutions. The Park is the result of a strategic partnership between MassDevelopment, the City of Fall River and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with the goal of establishing a technology-based research, development and manufacturing environment on the SouthCoast.
