Application to Join the Honors Program, Fall 2009

This application is for students who have already begun their studies at UMass Dartmouth and who wish to apply to join the University Honors Program on the basis of their UMD GPA at the end of the Fall 2009 semester.

Professor Darst is a specialist in international relations, environmental politics, and human rights.  He is author of the book Smokestack Diplomacy: Cooperation and Conflict in East-West Environmental Politics (MIT Press). He has also published articles in journals such as Environment, The Journal of Environmental Politics, and The Journal of Human Rights.  Prof. Darst's most recent article, "'Baptists and Bootleggers, Once Removed': The Politics of Radioactive Waste Internalization in the European Union," was published in Global Environmental Politics.

Cindy Pisapia has been a secretary at UMass Dartmouth for 20 years.  During that time, she has worked for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, the Center for Marine and Science Technology, and for the last 8 years, she has been the Honors Program Secretary.
