Students will begin the program by learning about African art andculture with UMD Music Professor Royal Hartigan and Master Dancer Kwabena Boateng.

Parent Q&A
In a separte session, parents are invited to discuss Spotlight (and high school students in general) with Donna Dimery, Spotlight Group Leader and former Principal of Dartmouth High School.

Jarrad Nunes, founder of New Bedford YouthREP, discusses the process of developing a theatrical production.  See live demonstrations by the UMD Theatre Company and maybe make your own stage debut.

Paul Oeskiewicz of Central Berkshire Ghost Hunters (motto: "We Find What You Don't Want To") discusses his adventures as an investigator of paranormal phenomena and gives you a chance to share a few of your own brushes with the supernatural.
