The log roll is a small stunt used to add variation and transition. It's a good stunt for beginners to learn, but there are a couple things to be aware of. First, the base must use his legs - not his back. He must keep his chest up when popping his partner in the air. If he should bend over to throw (hence, using his back muscles) it could cause him to throw his partner over him. Second, the girl must stay tight and not open out of her twist until she is completely around. Spotting is recommended for first timers.
