Rams midfielder Erin Johnson scored the first goal of the game unassisted in the seventh minute of the game to give the Rams an early lead. UMass Dartmouth answered right back with a goal of their own two minutes later to tie the game at 1-1. Two minutes later Ram midfielder Meghan Staffiere scored the game winner off a pass from teammate Jenn Johnson who added two goals of her own later in the game for the Rams.
Rams goalkeeper Lindsay McKearney was outstanding on the day as she made 10 saves and picked up the win. UMass Dartmouth goalkeeper Elizabeth Fitzgerald had 6 saves in the loss.
The Rams return to action on Tuesday as they host
