UMass Dartmouth Corsairs shutout Maine Maritime Academy 21-0 in a Saturday afternoon contest played at Castine, ME. UMass Dartmouth's record stands at 21 while Maine Maritime's mark dropped to 0-3. UMass Dartmouth quarterback John Falcone (Norwood, MA) tossed three touchdown passes and threw for 269 yards to lead the Corsair attack. Junior wide reciever Joe Sabina (Taunton, MA) cought two of Faclon's scoring tosses of 50 and 60 yards. Sabina on the day caught 7 passes for 168 yards. Freshman tight end Cameron Baker (Palm Bay, FL) cought an 11-yard strike from Falcone for another UMass Dartmouth score. The staunch Corsair defense held Maine Maritime to just 179 total yards in recording its first shutout of the year. UMass Dartmouth will face MIT next Saturday at home at 1:00 PM.
