UMass Dartmouth won its 9 consecutive game downing Massachusetts Maritime Academy 27-6. The tough Corsair defense held Mass. Maritime to 184 net yards just 66 on the ground. Corsair junior running back Shawn Theriault (Wakefield, MA) gained 100 yards on 23 attempts leading a strong UMass Dartmouth rushing attack, which netted 213 yards for the game. Four different Corsairs scored touchdowns in the team effort. Senior linebacker Chris Landreville's (Portsmith, RI) 64-yard interception return in second period put the game away. UMass Dartmouth will play host to Salve Regina University next Saturday at 12 noon going for it first undefeated season.
