UMass Dartmouth Corsairs won its 5 th consecutive contest stopping Utica College by the score of 44-0. UMass Dartmouth's record stands at 5-0 while the visitors mark dropped to 0-4. Junior quarterback John Falcone (Norwood, MA) rushed for two touchdowns and threw for one to lead a strong Corsair attack. Junior running back Shawn Theriault (Wakefield, MA) picked up 90 yards rushing on 14 carries to lead the ground attack. The Corsair defense completely shutdown the visitors from upstate New York holding the Pioneers to just 171 yards of total offense. Utica had just 10 first downs on the day. The Corsairs John Falcone scored on runs of 1 and 16 yards in the first quarter to give UMass Dartmouth a 14-0 lead at the end of the first stanza. The Corsair lead jumped to 28-0 at the half. The Corsairs will take on the Challenge of Nichols College next Saturday at 1:00 PM at UMass Dartmouth.
