UMass Dartmouth defeated Bridgewater State College 34-13 in the first Annual Shrines Club of Southeast Massachusetts's game, the Corsairs record stands at 3-0. Bridgewater State College's mark falls to 1-1 on the season. Senior Corsair running back Shawn Theriault rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns to lead a strong UMass Dartmouth all around team effort. Senior defensive back Ron Casper returned two interceptions for scores leading a stanch Cosairs defense which allowed a potent Bridgewater State offense just 216 total yards of offense. Theriault scored on runs of 15 and 3 yards while Caspers returns were 44 yards and 38 yards. UMass Dartmouth will travel to Milton, MA to face division rival Curry College next Saturday at 1 PM.
