UMass Dartmouth scored 21 first quarter points and went on to down UMass Boston by the one sided score of 58-6. UMass Dartmouth raised its seasons record to 2-1, 1-0 in division play while rival UMass Boston drops to 0-3, 0-1 in division play. Sophomore Frank Meranda (Richmond, CA) led a strong UMass Dartmouth ground attack rushing for 125 yards in just 13 carries he also scored three touchdowns all in first half of play when the Corsairs built a 44-0 lead. Shawn Harris (Dartmouth, MA) picked up where Meranda left off in the gaining 105 yard and scoring 2 touchdowns in the second half.
