UMass Dartmouth to host NCAA Tournament hockey game at Hetland, Mar. 12

UMass Dartmouth will host an NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Tournament game at Hetland Arena in New Bedford, Mass on Wednesday night, March 12, 2008.  Three-time champions of the ECAC Northeast, UMass Dartmouth will host NESCAC Champion Trinity (CT) College. Opening face off is set for 7 pm

Tickets for the NCAA Tournament game will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.  Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at Hetland Arena, beginning at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, March 12. No
advance tickets will be sold.  Seating is limited at Hetland Arena so fans are encouraged to get their tickets as early as possible.  Only 950 tickets have bee allotted to UMass Dartmouth and the remaining 250 have been sent to Trinity College.  If Trinity returns any unsold tickets, they would be put on sale shortly before the beginning of the game at 7 pm.

Fans attending the game need to be aware of NCAA regulations governing fan behavior.  Artificial noisemakers are prohibited from NCAA contests and will not be allowed inside the arena.  Alcohol is
also prohibited on the grounds of any NCAA championship contest. Open containers will not be allowed inside Hetland Arena and re-entry is prohibited.
