UMass Dartmouth's Jim Ruggeri scored five goals to lead UMass Dartmouth to its first Little East Conference victory of the year. The Corsairs improved to 1-1 overall for the season. Ruggeri scored twice in the first half and three more times in the second half to lead the Corsairs' scoring attack. Mike Jenkins picked up the victory in goal by coming up with 15 saves. The Corsairs host Eastern Connecticut State in their home opener on Saturday, March 30 at 1:00 pm.
