Game notes: UMass Dartmouth picked up its second Little East Conference victory in three days by holding on for an 8-7 victory over UMass Boston on Tuesday at Cressy Field.  The win improves the Corsairs’ record to 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the LEC, while the Beacons fall to 4-4 and 0-2 in the LEC.

With the game tied 4-4 heading into the final quarter, UMass Dartmouth outscored the Beacons 4-2 heading into the final minutes of the game.  The Beacons scored a goal with 3:17 to play and cut the Corsairs’ lead to one, 8-7 with 1:09 to play.  But UMass Dartmouth held on to the narrow lead for an 8-7 win.
