TAVARES, HEATHER

Tavares appeared in 16 games for the Corsairs during her first season. She shot 11-26 in limited action, adding 25 rebounds, plus two steals and two assists. She is a strong player who we hope to be able to use off the bench to relieve our front-line players. Tavares has a the ability to be a strong post player and solid rebounder at both ends of the court for the Corsairs, Houtman said. So, look for Tavares now and in future seasons.
