Douglas is a first-year player for UMass Dartmouth. According to Houtman, Douglas has a very good chance to be the strong forward after a solid pre-season. She is very aggressive inside and has the ability to post up and be a very good rebounder for the Corsairs. �At the same time she can come out of the post and shoot the ball well from the outside,� said Houtman. Douglas� range extends from the post to the three-point line. A very coachable player, she�s a good rebounder and her strength will be defense, forcing opponents to keep an eye on her. Coach Houtman expects Douglas to see plenty of playing time as the season unfolds, if not as a starter, then as a major contributor coming off the bench, according to Houtman.
