After sitting our her sophomore season, Fortin returns to the Corsairs as a junior. During her freshman season, Fortin appeared in eight games and scored 47 points while grabbing 33 rebounds. She also had eight steals and six blocked shots, while connecting on 20 of 42 from the floor. At 5-11, Fortin has good size and we will be looking to feed the ball to her in the post, said Houtman. We need her to develop her ability to finish off her shot and hopefully that will come with her experience. Fortin has a good court sense, especially in the post. She could be a force on the board for UMass Dartmouth this season.
