Game Notes:

(Bridgewater, MA) - BSC junior Paula Habel (Hingham, MA) scored 4 goals and added an assist to lead Bridgewater State College (5-5) to a convincing 14-6 win over UMass-Dartmouth from BSCs Swenson Field in Bridgewater, MA. With her five-point performance, Habel became BSCs all-time leading scorer as she surpassed Ann Silvias career scoring mark of 204 points.

Needing just three points to tie the mark and four to break it, Habel picked up an early assist and then added a pair of first half goals to tie the record at 204. With 27:23 remaining in the second half, history was made as Habel potted her third goal of the afternoon to set a new standard in BSC womens lacrosse. She later added her fourth goal of the game with time winding down in the second half.

Lost in all the celebration was another solid performance from Bridgewater State which has won two straight and three of its last four. The Bears jumped out to a 7-2 first half lead and then tallied the first two goals of the second half to put the game away.

Junior Melanie Medeiros (Somerset, MA) had a five-point day for the Bears as well as she tallied four goals and also added an assist.
