Michelle Mason tied her own school record with six goals and added three assists to lead the Keene State College women�s lacrosse team to a 12-5 Little East Conference victory over UMass Dartmouth at Keene State on Saturday. It was the LEC opener for both teams.
It was the fourth straight win for Keene State and the second straight loss for the Corsairs.
The Owls jumped out to a 6-1 lead and held an 8-2 advantage at half time. Mason, a freshman attack netted three goals in each half. She now has a team-high 19 goals this season.
The victory marked the first by Keene State College over the Corsairs in five meetings.
UMass Dartmouth will be back in action on Tuesday, April 9 when the Corsairs host Rhode Island College in a Little East Conference game at 3:30 p.m.
