Game Notes:

Jen Burrows (Hubbradston, MA) had three goals and Shannon Curran (Framingham, MA) added a goal and two assists to lead UMass Dartmouth to an 8-3 Little East Conference victory over Rhode Island College Tuesday afternoon. The victory improves UMass Dartmouth�s record to to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the Little East Conference. The loss drops Rhode Island College to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the LEC.

Holding a 3-1 lead at halftime, UMass Dartmouth scored four unanswered goals in the first ten minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach. Liz Holland picked up the win in goal for UMass Dartmouth with seven saves, while Lauren Gerde made 23 saves for Rhode Island College.

UMass Dartmouth will be back in action on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. when the Corsairs host Springfield College in a non-conference game.
