UMass Dartmouth first year player ties scoring record
(Dartmouth, MA) -- First year forward Katelyn Elliott of Lowell, MA tied the UMass Dartmouth school record for most goals in a game with 7 in the Corsairs' 21-0 win over Nichols College on Thursday. The win improved the Corsairs record to 2-1 this season.
Elliott started things off quickly by scoring the first goal of the game with only 13 seconds off the clock in the first half enroute to her seven-goal performance.
On the defensive side, the shutout victory was only the second in the seven-year history of the women's lacrosse program at UMass Dartmouth.
