Post season awards: Katelyn Elliott named to the womenslacrosse.com All-America Rookie Team (first UMD women’s lacrosse player to earn national honors) also Elliott was Little East Conference Rookie of the Year, All-LEC Second Team, LEC Rookie of the Week March 29 and April 12; Katelyn Sullivan All-LEC First Team, LEC Offensive Player of the Week April 19; Mary Doherty All-LEC First Team; Liz Holland All-LEC Second Team, LEC Defensive Player of the Week April 19
Season highlights: Seeded third in LEC Tournament, defeated #6 Southern Maine 17-12 in LEC First Round game before losing to #2 Plymouth State, 15-11 in LEC semifinals. Invited to the ECAC New England Division III Women’s Tournament, seeded 5th, dropped first round game to Curry, 15-14 in overtime.
