UMass Dartmouth picks up third win a row, 18-2 over Salve Regina
(Dartmouth, MA) -- Midfielder Mary Doherty (Loudonville, NY) scored five goals and first-year attacker Katelyn Elliott (Lowell, MA) along with sophomore Katelyn Sullivan (New Bedford, MA) recorded 4 goals each in a 17-2 non-conference victory over Salve Regina on Thursday afternoon. UMass Dartmouth captains Megan Corfield (Framingham, MA) and Kristine Johnson (Walpole, MA) each contributed 2 goals to the victory, UMass Dartmouth's third against only one loss.
The Corsairs' victory over Salve Regina University snapped a four-game losing streak to the Seahawks with each loss decided by less than two goals.
Salina Rano scored both goals for Salve Regina University.
UMass Dartmouth will open Little East Conference play this Saturday at Keene, NH when the Corsairs take on the Owls at 4:00 pm
