Mandatory Orientation Sessions

Orientation sessions are held throughout the year for all student organizations. At least one officer must attend these meetings to be recognized and recieve funding.  It is recommended that as many officers as available attend.  Existing Student Organizations should attend a meeting as early in the year as possible.  Newly formed groups through the year should attend the next available session.

Programming / Student Orientation Sessions

All student groups who wish to be active and able to program during the Academic Year must register their group with the SAIL Office and attend a Programming / Senate Funding Orientation Session. This includes newly recognized and returning groups as well.

At least one officer must attend and sign the attendance sheet, which will be given out at the end of the session. If your group is unable to attend any of these sessions, please contact the Student Organization Coordinator in the SAIL Office as soon as possible at (508) 999-8127

During these sessions clubs will learn about how to work with the Senate to request money, complete monthly reports, and clarify the signature chain necessary for filing purchase orders. Download Senate Budget Request Packet. (PDF File)
