ClubsOrgsRequesting Recognition of a New Organization

To register a new organization:

  1. One member must attend a Programming Orientation Session, at which the policies and procedures will be reviewed. Registration forms (PDF) will be distributed at this meeting.
  2. Pick up a Student Organization Registration Packet from the SAIL Office.
  3. Organize a meeting to recruit members (read the membership requirements)
  4. Select an Advisor (read the advisor requirements)
  5. Write a constitution (read the constitution requirements)
  6. Return all required paperwork (make sure all forms are filled out completely) to the SAIL Office
  7. Have your organization and advisor meet with a SAIL Office Staff Member

*Students interested in starting a Fraternity or Sorority should see the Assistant Director of the SAIL Office.  Please contact the SAIL Office for more information.
