Saint of the Day
Saint of Day gives a short biography of the saint whose feast we celebrate each day of the year.
Pasta night, every Wednesday evening, is a time to socialize with other students and engage in conversation.
You are invited to join us. Come and bring a friend.
Date: Thursday
Place: Newman House, 359 Old Westport Road (left out of campus to second house on the left)
Time: 6:00pm
Friday Flicks
First Friday of each month: movie and popcorn at the Newman House, 7pm.
See Retreats also.
The Catholic Community gathers for Sunday Mass at 1:00pm 7pm. Even though we do not have a church building on campus, we are the Church that gathers to pray and bring to God our needs and the needs of our brothers and sisters. We also ask for what we need to help us live as Christians for the upcoming week. Join us to pray and share our faith.
Sundays: 1:00pm and 7pm Reflection Room, second floor of the Campus Center (near the elevator)
Mondays and Wednesdays: 12:10pm Reflection Room 233 second floor of campus center
Readers: If you were a reader in your parish, consider reading for Mass here on campus. See Sr. Madeleine or Fr. Michael.
Fridays: Law School 12:10pm Room 015
Hospitality: Help is needed with setting up for Mass, we need to move the chairs and tables to change the atmosphere. Also, help with the pizza and refreshments after Mass would be a way to support the community.
Sundays
1:00pm m and 7pm, Reflection Room
Mondays and Wednesdays
12:10pm, Reflection Room 233
Newman House is funded by the Diocese of Fall River for the use of Catholic Campus Ministry at UMass Dartmouth. Programming is held here, and you are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings at 6pm for pasta night and conversation.
Catholic Campus Ministry is located in the Religious Resource Center, room 210 on the second floor of the Campus Center. We have an open door policy and the office opens daily at 8:00 am except Saturday and Sunday, and before Mass on Sunday evening.
Scripture study is part of the Catholic Life weekly meetings.
Soup Kitchen
Each month there is an opportunity for service at the soup kitchen sponsored by UMass Dartmouth Catholic Campus Ministry and Sodexho food services. The soup kitchen is usually on the fourth Thursday of month except November and December. The sign up sheet is on the Catholic Campus Ministry bulletin board.

Something to Think About
In happy moments, praise God.
In difficult moments, seek God.
In quiet moments, worship God.
In painful moments, trust God.
In every moment, thank God.
