For Academic Year 2013/2014, students taking day classes are charged the mandatory $47.50/semester health fee . The fee is prorated for part-time students.
Each time students visit Health Services for care, Health Services bills their insurance (whether it's their student health insurance plan through the university, their own plan, or a family health insurance plan). The health fee is considered to be a co-pay, so students are not charged a co-pay for office visits.
Health Services charges student's insurance for immunizations received at Health Services. Students with HMO's need to have a referral from the primary medical provider before receiving the immunization.
