NEW Orientation Leader Application:
Thank you for your interest in becoming an Orientation Leader at UMass Dartmouth. Please take a minute to read through the application process as outlined below.
All NEW Orientation Leader Applicants are required to submit the following documents as a part of their application:
1.) NEW Orientation Leader Application 2013
2.) Two (2) NEW Orientation Leader Reference Forms – One (1) form for each reference
3.) Typed responses to the five (5) application questions – MUST be submitted as a Word doc, docx, or pdf file
4.) Resume – MUST be submitted as a doc, docx, or pdf file
The application, application questions, and resume should all be saved with your name in the document title and EMAILED to Orientation@umassd.edu (subject: NEW OL App – Your Name).
Should you encounter issues with filling out or emailing the application, you may also submit hard copies of the above documents to the SAIL Office (c/o Jacqueline Boardman), on the 2nd floor of the Campus Center, Room 215.
Reference Forms may be submitted by email (Orientation@umassd.edu) or hard copy. Hard copies should be sent to the SAIL Office c/o Jacqueline Boardman.
*Please note: References cannot be professional staff members (or Orientation Coordinators) associated with the Orientation program. References should be people who have supervised your work and can speak to your abilities and limitations as a leader or employee. Friends who can provide character references are not as helpful as professors or employers.
