Transfer students attend either Early Summer, Late Summer, or January Orientation, depending on when they applied and were accepted to the University. Transfer Orientation is held on the following dates:

Please park in Los 4, 5 and 6
Continental breakfast and lunch are included
7:30am Placement Testing - math & foreign language (for those who did not do so previously) LARTS 216
8:00am Check-In at the Campus Center
8:30am-3:00pm Orientation Sessions (mandatory)
Orientation sessions will include information on Financial Aid, Being a Citizen at UMD, Living on Campus, Commuting, Safety, Getting Involved on Campus, Transfer Student Topics, Course Registration, Getting the UMass Pass (student i.d.) as well as options for tours, visits tot he bookstore and parking office.
